Biography

Cesare Pane holds a Master’s degree in Biotechnology for Personalised Medicine from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Rome and a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology for Health from the University of Ferrara. He also completed a postgraduate specialisation in Machine Learning and Big Data in Precision Medicine and Biomedical Research at the University of Padova. His research background spans translational gastroenterology, mucosal immunology, patient-derived organoids, murine models, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and biomarker discovery in inflammatory bowel disease. Within LifeLUNG, he joins DC7 at Miltenyi Biotec to investigate human immune responses to lung transplantation using CD34+ cell-based xenograft models and advanced spatial profiling technologies.
