Improving ex vivo lung perfusion with negative pressure ventilation and mobilization

Biography

Talha Chauhdari is a biomedical researcher from Pakistan with an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from UCAS, China. His previous work involved developing lung tumor organoids-on-chip for preclinical drug screening. His research interests lie at the intersection of bioengineering and mechanobiology, focusing on how physical cues shape lung biology. As DC2 in LifeLUNG, he develops ex vivo lung perfusion models combined with spatial sequencing to reduce mechanical injury in donor lungs.
