Mary Ann Liebert, Inc. is a privately owned, independent publishing company headquartered in New York, with ~100 active scientific journals. Human Gene Therapy was the first journal dedicated to the field of gene therapy research and publishes research, methods, and clinical developments as well as current topics of interest such as ethics, controversies, and achievements. In February 2018, the company also launched The CRISPR Journal, a bimonthly journal devoted to research advances and commentary in the field of CRISPR and genome editing.
