
Oriol Solà-Morales a MD specialised in Internal Medicine, is a professor in Pharmacology and Health Economics at Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, and a Research Fellow at the Office for Health Economics. Following studies at the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, he gained a PhD at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
He has built a career in the planning, policy and decision-making environment, previously as a Regional HTA Agency director, Innovation and Strategy Director in several hospitals, member of the Regional Research Advisory Council and policy advisor to two Health Ministers. In 2011 he founded HITT, transformed in 2019 into the HiTT Foundation to strive for innovation in a sustainable healthcare.
