Hôpital Foch is a private, non-profit medical institution renowned for its high-quality care and expertise in both surgical and medical treatments, serving as a reference and specialized care centre. In the field of lung transplantation, Hôpital Foch has been a leader in France for over 30 years, performing between 70 and 80 lung transplants annually, and is one of the most active and high-performing centres in Europe. It is recognized for its innovations and successes in this area, supported by a multidisciplinary team of experts in thoracic surgery, pulmonology, and intensive care. The EVLP program is currently the largest in Europe, with 30 to 40 procedures conducted per year, and over 300 cases handled since its inception in 2011.

 

The hospital's research facilities are located on-site, ensuring seamless integration between clinical practice and research activities. The hospital is also deeply involved in education, hosting a nursing and midwifery school, as well as a simulation centre, and actively contributes to the innovation ecosystem through its third-space experimentation platform
