HALO vzw

HALO vzw is a patient association for lung transplantation at UZ Leuven, work closely with hospital staff. This association is aimed at patients who are considering or have undergone a lung transplant, and their families, with members from across Belgium. It is run by a board of 10 persons, all lung transplant recipients. HALO vzw aims to provide patients and their families with mutual support before, during and after lung transplantation, to exchange information, personal experienced and knowledge about existing and new treatments, and to promote a positive attitude towards transplantation among the general public.
