Dr. Marina (Bia) Mori da Cunha is a translational scientist and project coordinator with dual PhDs in Biomedical Sciences and Veterinary Surgery. With over 10 years of experience in preclinical research, international consortia, and cross-sector collaboration, she specializes in bridging academic innovation with clinical applications—particularly in translational medicine and regenerative therapies.

As the project manager of the LifeLUNG Marie Curie project, she oversees the execution of this multidisciplinary initiative, ensuring seamless collaboration among partners and providing strategic guidance to the 15 early-career researchers involved. Her expertise spans project management, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring. Certified in animal experimentation and GDPR-compliant research, she brings a unique blend of technical rigor, leadership, and a passion for team development to advance translational science.
