Biography

Shaheen Sheikh Farid is a molecular biologist with expertise in genome editing and translational lung research. She completed her MSc at Uppsala University and has worked in both academic and industrial settings, including AstraZeneca and Harvard Medical School. Her experience spans CRISPR genomic integrity, nanoparticle delivery, and inflammatory disease models. In LifeLUNG, she focuses on engineering virus-like particles for targeted CRISPR delivery during EVLP.
