What an inspiring few days connecting with the global lung transplantation community!

The LifeLung team was proud to attend the 17th Lung Transplantation Congress, where clinicians, surgeons, researchers, industry partners, and early-stage researchers came together to exchange ideas and shape the future of lung transplantation.

šŸŽ¤ Prof. Laurens Ceulemans shared the multidisciplinary vision behind LifeLung and the power of collaboration in driving innovation.

We were also privileged to learn from leading experts Edouard Sage, Sandra Lindstedt, and Clemens Aigner, who shared their extensive clinical and scientific experience, inspiring discussions on the future of the field.

šŸ‘ Our doctoral candidate Talha Chauhdari presented his poster on negative-pressure EVLP, sparking valuable discussions with experts in the field.

šŸ¤ Bia Mori, LifeLung Project Coordinator, attended to strengthen collaborations, support dissemination activities, and connect with partners across the international transplant community.

šŸŒ We were also delighted to see our doctoral candidates Shalini Vennila Ramachandran and Hemapriya Kothuru Chinnadurai engaging with experts, discovering emerging technologies, and expanding their professional networks.

A big thank you to everyone who shared their knowledge, insights, and enthusiasm. Together, we’re working towards the next generation of innovations that will improve the lives of lung transplant patients worldwide.
