We at LifeLUNG are proud to support the incredible efforts of the LVR Academy and colleagues driving innovation in Lung Volume Reduction Surgery (LVRS). This is exactly the kind of multidisciplinary, patient-focused collaboration that transforms lives.

We are especially proud that our LifeLUNG coordinator, Prof. Laurens Ceulemans, is part of the project team, alongside Bia Mori, our project coordinator, both actively contributing to this important initiative. šŸ‘

LVRS is no longer a niche procedure, it is a personalized, minimally invasive treatment offering meaningful improvements in quality of life and precious time for patients awaiting lung transplantation. 🫁

Congratulations on the launch of the LVR Academy, a much-needed global platform for knowledge sharing!

As a network dedicated to advancing lung research and therapies, LifeLUNG fully supports this mission. Collaboration across disciplines and borders is the key to better outcomes for patients with lung disease.
