OnĀ 18 June, we hosted the first webinar of the LifeLUNG Doctoral Network, bringing together our doctoral candidates and researchers for an inspiring discussion onĀ Ex Vivo Gene Delivery in Transplantation.

We were delighted to welcomeĀ Irina Filz von Reiterdank, who shared her pioneering work on gene delivery during organ perfusion and offered valuable insights from her unique perspective as both a transplant surgeon and researcher. The presentation sparked engaging discussions on the future of organ engineering, graft modification, and advanced therapeutic approaches to improve transplantation outcomes.

These are exactly the kinds of conversations we hope to foster within LifeLUNG as we train the next generation of researchers in transplantation and advanced therapies.

Thank you,Ā Irina Filz von Reiterdank, for your enthusiasm, openness, and willingness to share your expertise with our network.
